Kindle Unlimited If you are someone who sells their books, reads books, likes to buy online from Amazon, or pretty much makes it a habit of having some interaction with Amazon.com, then you are probably aware of their new marketing idea called Kindle Unlimited. In our home we have pretty much gotten on the Amazon Prime train. We buy online a lot, so get free shipping, watch movies and TV shows for free, and can borrow ebooks. I also sell all my books exclusively through their website. It has been a pretty good train ride. The train has both brought income into our home, and saved us money on things. Cherry Cocoa-Almond Hand Pies {Trader Joe’s Recipes} 2 rolls (1 box) TJ’s Pie Crust, defrosted in fridge overnight 1 jar (about 2 cups) TJ’s Dark Morello Cherries, drained 1 tsp TJ’s Unbleached All Purpose Flour, plus more for rolling dough 3 Tbsp TJ’s Cocoa Almond Spread 1 large TJ’s Egg, beaten with 1 tsp Water 1/4 cup TJ’s Turbinado Sugar (optional for sanding tops) *You will also need a wide-mouthed jar or circular cookie cutter (3.5 in diameter = about 7 hand pies) Remove both pie crust rolls from refrigerator and let soften on counter (about 15 minutes). Once dough is softened, working in two batches, unroll and smooth together any cracks with your hands over the top of the plastic film of the dough. Hand Tooled Leather Slapper Last year at Thunder in The Mountains while shopping the vendors at the event, I spotted this at Master Mac’s booth. His store is called The Kink Shop and they are out of Shreveport, Louisiana. It is a hand tooled leather slapper made by a fella that made horse saddles for forty plus years. I happen to like leather slappers as we have multiple ones, but this one was really nice. Jolynn gives me a certain amount of money to spend there, and of course I have to make choices. This slapper was $60+ there. I had bought three soy candles, and a red rope scissors that I use in the kitchen. I actually have two in the kitchen and we have one in the dungeon area.
