My Writing Process – Blog Tour

My muse can be the death of me or whisper ideas that take my mind on an incredible journey. The question often arises about how I write, so I figured this blog hop would shed a little light on my darkly twisted, often kinky, and wonderful Muse, and how I put onto paper what she whispers in my ear. First things first. I have been tagged in this blog by the wonderful and talented Sotia Lazu  I’ve known Sotia for a good while now and we both began to grow into the writers that we are around the same time. Her romances offer a good deal of heat, but also contain characters who are real. They make mistakes, they are far from perfect, and yet even with those flaws, they find love. I like her style because none of us are perfect and yet so many romances have a hero and heroine […]

Blog Hop Interview – Tag You’re It!

I was tagged for this blog post by the wonderful Sotia Lazu. Thank you! What are you working on right now? I have a series of books that feature the Connelly Witches. They are the magical descendants of the vampire and Gypsy in my paranormal historical novels Beneath the Shadows of Evil. The family made a vow to protect mankind from the evil that walks among us. Battling demons of course has its pitfalls and leads them on many adventures.  I am offering both books in the series at a low price running this month. The books are stand alone but you can better understand the history aspect if you start with Shattered Images. I worked yesterday to make a really nice family tree but couldn’t get the format to work! So now there is a family history list at the start. It tells who is who and who […]

Here’s Something you Need to Check Out! 1 comment

Magic at Work has just been released! Sotia Lazu is an author who is near and dear to my heart. She got her start writing about the same time I did. Her genres of choice are romances with a twist and urban fantasy novels, always with vivid erotic elements. Her characters aren’t exactly hero-material at first glance; she likes making them fight for their happiness. Still, the romantic in her can’t resist happy endings. She thought he hated her. He thought she was too good for him. Fate proved them both wrong. On a slow day at work, Lexi Adams discovers an on-line erotic romance novel. Intrigued by the similarities she shares with the heroine, she starts reading and becomes enamored with the leading man. The problem is, she’s only able to access the novel on her work computer. Ric Ackart, head of the IT department, suspects she’s slacking off and decides […]

The Next Big Thing

The Next Big Thing The wonderful Sotia Lazu tagged me in this “freeze-tag style blog hop that’s going around Authorville.” Basically, if you get tagged, fill out the questions on your own blog about your upcoming writing project, then tag five additional authors, linking to their blogs or websites. Don’t forget to let them know they were tagged. THE TEN QUESTIONS: 1. What is the working title of your book? Beneath the Shadows of Evil 2. Where did the idea come from for the book? I honestly don’t remember. I love an evil and dark anti-hero, and a soulless vampire in a time when the world was a dark place fit the bill.  3. What genre does your book fall under? Paranormal Historical Romance 4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?   I honestly have no idea. I don’t really pay attention to the whole entertainment crowd […]
