The Dark Side by Ashe Barker #Discipline

The Dark Side by Ashe Barker Hi, and thank you for inviting me over today to chat about the re-release of The Dark Side.  This series was my first attempt to write anything more steamy than a birthday card and I was delighted with it. I’ll always be proud of how well the books did and the fabulous reviews they received. I am eternally grateful to Totally Bound for accepting them and for taking a chance on the unpublished rookie I was back then. So, if it ain’t broke, why mend it? As I wrote The Dark Side I had no idea if anyone but me would ever read the books. I knew next to nothing about the world of publishing or professional writing, so although my editor did a fabulous job of making the books fit to be seen among decent folk (or should that be indecent folk?) We’ve Got Friends in Low Places 5 comments

We’ve Got Friends in Low Places On Sept. 23rd of 2017, I will be officially retired from 30 years in my career or ‘regular’ job, and will become a writer and kink educator full time. I counted the days, really I did. I brought up the calendar and sat like a kid counting the days left before Christmas, because my retirement will be like Christmas, a birthday, summer vacation, and spring break rolled up into a spectacular day to celebrate. It isn’t that I hate my job, I just am ready to be done after 30 years. It’s time to move onto other interests and write full time, so 09/23/2017 is D-day. Along with my retirement will come a move to another state with a milder climate. Wisconsin gets way to cold, and frankly Beauty and I have had enough of the snow. We’ve also had enough of the […]

Relish by Susannah Shannon

Relish by Susannah Shannon Book #2 in the Cass Chronicles  Cass Nelson has gotten used to blizzards, wolves and being an outsider in Slicktrench Alaska. While she couldn’t be happier in her marriage to Killian, the arrival of a surprise package is a potent reminder that her marriage isn’t like the relationships her friends all have. She might not understand this whole being a submissive wife business, but she does understand that she can’t imagine living a life without the man she adores even if he lights up her bottom on a regular basis. Busy with helping to run the lodge and posting on her very popular CassCooks blog, her life tips upside down with having to deal with Killian’s brother who is marrying a woman that nobody likes and an IRS auditor nosing around the lodge. Just when Cass has decided that the best way to insure a happy […]
