Six Days and Counting #Wedding
Our household is in a mad frenzy and it looks like a UPS truck exploded in our living room. The cats have never had so many boxes to play in. Why the crazy mess you ask? We are getting married in just six days! That’s it. In six days I will take Beauty to be my lawfully wedded wife. We were joined as Mistress and submissive in a beautiful ceremony that forever bound us in the eyes of the kink community, and we are legal domestic partners (Beauty hates that word!), but now we will be wife and wife, and no one can deny us the rights marriage brings. She will be mine to have and to hold, to honor and protect, to care for in sickness and in health, and to be by my side for two forevers, along with the health insurance and legal security marriage brings.
So the UPS truck exploded in our living room and the office is a crazy mess. We have ball gown dresses, hoop skirts, corset bras, tiaras (4 of them), hair clips, stockings, shoes, cake topper, rings, flower girl dress, two sets of wings, a wand and basket for our granddaughter, silk hand fans, a special wedding box into which our guests will place a small memento that has been wished upon before Beauty and I give our gifts to each other to put in, a marriage license, suitcase, toasting glasses, and of course two crazy happy brides to be.
So six more days and counting until we walk down the garden path amid flowers, family, and friends to say the words that tell of our deep and abiding love with a bit of whimsy tossed in. I love Beauty. She is my life. As we listen to love songs and quirky songs, and ballads to find the ones that will make our day uniquely our, and write our vows, I know that I have never done anything so very right. Not with my ex-husband, not even with my collaring of her. This is ‘I do’. I do take you. I do love you. I do want you to be mine. I do, and do, and do in sickness and health, in good times and bad, till death do us part. In six days, six short but too long days, I do and so will Beauty. Just six days until happily ever after.
