Kinky Mother’s Day Gifts

Mother’s Day is coming, and once again you are totally stumped of what to get her. Going out to eat for dinner or lunch is fine, but you can also do that any day of the year, not just once a year. Don’t you know that everyday is Mother’s Day? Come clean her house so it’s bright and shiny, she’d appreciate that I’m sure. Don’t forget the toilets! Or hire Merry Maids, or someone like that to come in and do it if you can’t. Do take her out and give her flowers and a card with some thought put into it, or she’ll know and won’t ever forget it. She might say, “Oh, you don’t have to bother with that”. Bother with it or she will remind you for the rest of your life. Trust me, I know these things. 

I’ve put together some gift ideas for you just in case. If they are items that you have to order and won’t get to her by Mother’s Day, there are creative ways to work around that. Jewelry goes over pretty well with most ladies, {or whatever kind of  way your person identifies as}, so you can always get a special necklace for her that has a meaning only the two of you know about. I’ve been hooked on Etsy and found a shop that carries not so obvious day collars, since mine isn’t, and maybe you want her to wear it to work or wherever you go. The shop is called SkyWireDesigns and is run by Danielle. Most of her jewelry has an option of a lobster clasp, locking ring clasp, or locking allen wrench key clasp. You have three options of sterling silver necklace chains to pick from also. {I personally haven’t bought anything yet, as that is a long process between myself and Jolynn if it involves collars. I can covet Danielle’s though.}

Having Fun Getting Dirty ~ Or Is That Clean?

Maybe  your Mom or significant other is kind of quirky and likes things that are fun like that. Our friend, Lady Eos, also on Etsy, has fun soaps, fragrances, body washes, and ways to be dirty while you are getting clean. There’s Who’s Your Daddy adult soap, Body Candles that you can use as a candle or a massage oil to moisturize your body.  Also shower gel, 50 Shades of Clean soap, and Maude, which you can pick the hair color and fragrance, among other things. 

Getting Your Kink On With Rapture Leather

Rapture makes beautiful things out of leather and I always love looking at everything when we see him at an event. The posture collar above is just one example. I picked that one, since that is what I would pick if I could get one. You can find different ones at Rapture Leather.

Discreet Medallion Collar

There are simpler ones that are more discreet if you would be out in public, or a little more intricate. There are different medallions to pick to put on the collar of your choice. How To Make a ‘I’m Getting You a Gift and It’s Coming Card’

I use Canva online or on the iPad app all the time to make graphics of all sorts for the blog and social media. The card at the top of the page that says “Happy Kinky Mother’s Day“, I made in no time flat. You need to sign up or sign in through social media, or you can do it by creating a username and password of your choice.  Since I’m Photoshop impaired this works well for me, and it’s pretty easy when you get the hang of it. There will be a front page after you are done doing that with different projects to pick from. Making a card is more towards the bottom of the page. Pick that option, and there will be free ones or ones that you have to pay a $1 for the background. The one I picked is free. That’s pretty reasonable since I pay $25 a month for a subscription to Fotolia, and they are about the cheapest I’ve found with all the pictures you could ever want.  

After you pick the one that you want. Click on the text to change it to say whatever you want, and make it whatever color and font that you would want after that. You could put a picture of your gift on the card or a teaser telling that something special is coming. The one above took a bit of time to make, but it’s the thought that counts.

Dont’ forget her Amazon Wishlist to buy her a book that she can read and enjoy on her Kindle or in paperback form to hold. Electronic Gift Cards are always an option if you are driving up to the house sitting in the car and getting ready to get out to see her, but you slap your forehead since you forgot to bring something with.
