Why The Loyal Lesbian Wants A Merkin We were personally invited by Lisa Haas’ girlfriend Stephanie, to watch The Foxy Merkins at the Union Theatre last Friday night as part of the Milwaukee LGBT Film Festival, and afterwards we went to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Tool Shed. During the after party, there was a T-shirt that they had that said ‘The Foxy Merkins, The Movie!’, and underneath all that on the bottom of the shirt, it had a merkin. The movie is a hoot! I strongly recommend you go and see it. I was laughing so hard at the funny parts, I was crying. It was a funny touching, heart warming movie, so go see it wherever it’s playing. One of the local stores is now stocking Elizabeth’s Destiny, Dark Obsessions, and Sweet Agony. It’s a major step in the sales of my paperback copies. When they come in the box I still get all tingly when I hold one of them. It is a definite rush to touch a new book, all glossy and perfect and see my name on it for the author. For those of you here in Milwaukee, they are being sold at the Tool Shed down on Murray. Go on down and look at all their wonderful things. Many of their floggers, paddles, collars, and other fun stuff are made by local people. You know Lord Katana makes the best floggers and Sir Wieland the best paddles. My Beauty won a neon (similar to violet) wand set last night at our electrical play class. I am soooo happy. We had a violet wand on loan for a year but had to return it. I missed it so much, but now we have our own. Hooray for safe and sensual electric play. Thank you Sunny Megatron and Kevin for a great class and for raffling off the neon wand.
