Lead Characters of Beneath the Shadows of Evil

To make a new fan page called Lucian’s Lair more exciting, I found photos which portray how the lead character in my Beneath the Shadows of Evil look like in my head. As you can see, a very vital character is missing. Mikhal Arcos, lead evil vampire himself cannot be found. We are going to run a contest between now and January 12th. Post pictures of who you feel makes a sexy and brooding Mikhal Arcos. Remember, no sunlight. What does one do when the story they have written is a whopping 450,000 words? Many have said that books shouldn’t be over 100,000 words, especially in this day and age of the ADHD society. The paperback version will be too costly to print, and the e-book reader doesn’t want to invest the time, or so they say. So here I am left attempting to split apart a story that has a lot of small plot lines woven into the big picture and finding it a nightmare to cut it up. If I follow the wisdom of those with experience and those in the business, I should chop it into four parts, but those parts aren’t clearly evident. Each sub plot is too intricately imbedded. Will my readers scream if too many of the small plot lines are left dangling? I am left with is cliffhangers ever where I look. The obvious break line […]
